SUNDAY | Nancy Nemes
Nancy isn’t holding much back (aside from the name of a secret island), so read on.
This interview is part of the Mon-Sun series where we take an honest look behind the job title and explore what makes people tick, both in and out of “the office”. Each guest answers a set of 20 questions — split between their weekday (Monday) and weekend (Sunday) routines.
This week has been hard yet wonderful and WE WILL BE OKAY.
I’m writing this from the New York Public Library—best. place. ever. I can’t believe it took me three years to get a library card, but I plan to make up for lost time with weekly visits.
Nancy isn’t holding much back here (aside from the name of a secret island), so read on.
I first met Nancy in 2019 when she was deep in planning her humanAIze Tech conference at the iconic Hotel Adlon in Berlin. We brainstormed bold ideas to make the event as impactful as possible, and from our very first conversation, it was clear that Nancy was a true trailblazer. With over 20 years in emerging tech, she has advocated ethical AI long before it became part of our daily lives.
Today, Nancy leads Partnerships for Central Europe at AWS, following several leadership roles at Google and Microsoft.
If you missed it, the first part of our conversation is here – you’ll see why Fidelio made this weekend's playlist.
